Presenting an enjoyable and participative approach to history. History Up Close brings the past out of books into a hands-on experience.
Formed in 2000 AD, History Up Close
consists of several dedicated living-historians, collectively having some 21 years experience in the areas of blacksmithing, costuming, music, dance,
swordplay, arms and armour, wood working, maritime history,
food and cooking.
We bring all this and our enthusiasm to share an interactive and educational approach to history, whether it be at
schools, libraries, public events or functions.
